Content Producer - Ithaca College Television

Lead a team of 40+ people in a 30 minute weekly live news show called Newswatch. The show consists of anchors delivering local, national and regional news, as well as reporters who connect the viewers to the people, places, and businesses of Ithaca, New York. The show also covers a weather forecast and sports broadcast for both Ithaca College and Cornell University.

Write, pitch, shoot, and edit weekly packages highlighting the places and people of Ithaca. I cover a wide variety of issues around Ithaca and Syracuse. Connecting with people about a matter that is important to them is one of the best parts about storytelling and I'm glad I have been able to share people's stories that may not have the ability to share themselves.
Social Media Strategist - Ithaca College Admissions
January 2019-June 2021
Film, edit, and post videos on Instagram and TikTok for an audience of prospective students and families. Hold position of "influencer" on ZeeMee, a chat app for incoming college students. Answer questions in admitted students chats and post content about Ithaca.
Co-Chair of Admission Hosts - Ithaca College Admissions
January 2023 - December 2023
Engaged with dozens of prospective students and parents daily to lead guided tours and information sessions. Acted as a student manager and demonstrated project management skills by creating schedules for the 50+ Ithaca College tour guides for 6-8 open houses. Assist with office duties in the Office of Admissions. Lead the hiring process for Admission Host Tour guides from interviewing candidates, to training, and evaluating tour guides.
Treasurer- New York Film and Television Student Alliance
September 2021-December 2023
Managed operational and programming budget of $5,000 and coordinated financial obligations for the group’s annual trip to New York City. Planned club-wide summit by finding panelists and industry professionals to host workshops and maintained talent relations throughout the event. Contacted Ithaca College Alum and industry professional to speak at bi-weekly meetings.
Teaching Assistant- Department of Media Arts and Sciences
January 2023-December 2023
Led studio lectures and taught camera roles to a class of 15-20 students in a multi-camera introductory television studio production class. Teach roles of the studio in teleprompter, floor manager, camera, and talent positions. Assisted the professor in teaching the control room positions including audio, assistant director, and graphics.

Producing
Through my work with Ithaca College Television and hands-on production courses, I grew into a confident producer. I’ve produced everything from hour-long YouTube broadcasts to 30-minute live news programs and magazine-style journalism shows, approaching each project with creativity and precision. Along the way, I sharpened my time management and leadership skills, while learning how to guide and collaborate with teams of students at all experience levels.

Extra Curriculars
Dive into my extracurriculars and campus involvement at Ithaca College, where I took on a variety of roles that shaped my leadership and collaboration skills. I served as a teaching assistant for an introductory television course, helped produce a documentary for the New York Special Olympics, acted as the co-chair of the Admission Host Committee, and took on the role as treasurer of the New York Film and Television Alliance. Each role gave me the opportunity to build community, grow as a leader, and support causes I’m passionate about.
